The multipack contains 6 boxes of Gaviscon Peppermint Flavour Chewable Tablets, with 12 tablets in each box, providing 72 tablets in total.

Gaviscon Peppermint Flavour Chewable Tablets are a medicine used to relieve symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion related to reflux. Each tablet contains three active ingredients: sodium alginate, sodium hydrogen carbonate and calcium carbonate.

After chewing, the medicine forms a protective alginate raft over the stomach contents, helping to prevent stomach acid from escaping into the food pipe. This protective action can help reduce reflux for up to four hours. The tablets have a refreshing peppermint flavour and are designed for convenient use after meals and at bedtime.


 

Important Information

Always read the patient leaflet before use. If symptoms persist after seven days, consult a doctor. Allow a two-hour interval between taking Gaviscon and other medicines. Seek professional advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

  • Sodium Alginate: 250mg
  • Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate: 133.5mg
  • Calcium Carbonate: 80mg

Other Ingredients:

Peppermint Flavour, Macrogol 20,000, Mannitol (E421), Copovidone, Aspartame (E951), Acesulfame Potassium (E950) and Magnesium Stearate.

Allergen Information:

Contains aspartame (E951), a source of phenylalanine. Not suitable for people with phenylketonuria (PKU). Contains sodium and calcium. Those following a restricted-sodium or restricted-calcium diet should consult a healthcare professional before use.

How to Use

For oral use. Adults and children aged 12 years and over: thoroughly chew two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime. Do not swallow tablets whole. Children under 12 years should only take this medicine on medical advice. Follow the patient information leaflet and do not exceed the recommended dosage.
